To the fullest extent recognized by the laws of the state where the wheel was purchased, Fuel UTV issues this limited warranty to define the rights of the purchaser, and to limit Fuel UTV liability, with regard to warranty claims.
Fuel UTV warrants that our wheels will be free from structural failure under normal and intended use for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the product. Customers are specifically directed to the Fuel UTV Consumer Information and WTC (Wheel Technologies Corporation) Aftermarket Wheel Installation Guidelines supplied with the wheel. Failure to comply with these instructions shall void this warranty.
Except as specifically set forth below, Fuel UTV warrants that products manufactured will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal, intended use for a period of one year from the date of retail purchase.
Finish Coverage
- Chrome aluminum finishes will be free from peeling or lifting for a period of one year. Pitting is preventable with proper routine maintenance and is therefore not covered by this warranty.
Note: Chrome pitting is primarily caused by exposure to moisture, debris, salt, and the elements, which can damage the thin chrome layer and lead to corrosion. Road salt and other ice-melting products are particularly harsh; they can trap moisture, which accelerates corrosion of the chrome finish. When possible, chrome-plated wheels should not be used in areas where salt and chemicals are applied during winter weather. - Painted aluminum finishes will be free from peeling or lifting for a period of one year.
- PVD finishes will be free from peeling or lifting for a period of two years.
- Polished aluminum wheels that have not been clear-coated will oxidize and require regular maintenance. Polished aluminum finishes are not covered under this warranty.
- Excluding surface rust or corrosion, the paint and plating on steel wheels are warranted for a period of 90 days.
Limitations and Exclusions
In no event shall Fuel UTV be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages.
This warranty is not applicable if:
- Damage occurred due to failure to follow completely the instructions provided in the Fuel UTV Consumer Information and WTC Aftermarket Wheel Installation Guidelines;
- Corrosion or damage occurred due to improper maintenance, including the use of caustic cleaning chemicals or cloths and harsh car washes;
- Damage or structural failure occurred as a result of an accident or road conditions; or
- Damage or structural failure occurred as a result of improper use of the vehicle, including, but not limited to, on- and off-road racing.
This limited warranty is the sole express warranty given and is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, whether oral or written. Except as otherwise required by applicable law, all implied warranties, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby disclaimed. Where implied warranties may not be disclaimed under applicable law, such implied warranties are limited in duration to the period of the applicable express warranty stated above.
Note: Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
Fuel UTV products are not designed to be used with any accessories or adapters other than those supplied and/or approved in writing by Fuel UTV. Use of any accessory or adapter not manufactured or approved by Fuel UTV voids this warranty.
Making a Warranty Claim
To initiate a warranty claim, the purchaser shall return the wheel, along with a copy of the original sales receipt, for visual inspection to the retail or wholesale dealer from whom the product was originally purchased. If the wheel is determined to have failed to perform as expected under this warranty, the wheel will be repaired or replaced. Such repair or replacement shall not include the cost of removal, shipping, installation, or reinstallation of the wheel.
This warranty expires upon transfer of title of any product by the original retail purchaser and is not transferable.
IMPORTANT: If returned products are found ineligible for warranty coverage, the product will be returned to the sender, without repair or replacement, at the sender’s expense.
